We’ve been working on a large restoration project at the Brook House Condominiums in Brookline. Located at the intersection of Brookline Ave. and R.t 9, it consists of four buildings all with lobby floors of Rosa Verona marble. Due to the number of residents and the sheer volume of traffic that passes through daily, the floors have suffered over time. The floors had a coating on them that had to be stripped off before we could begin the process of restoring the natural shine. There were also areas where the stone had divots and we filled them with an epoxy and matching fill to repair them. After we stripped and repaired the damage it was time to turn up the shine. By diamond honing the floors the natural beauty came right back.
It was a large job that require coordination between Boston Stone Restoration and the Brook House management but I think you will agree the results are spectacular. If you are a property manager who has marble or other natural stone in the building contact BSR for a free walk through to access your needs.
