Property: The Stoneholm

Working in a historic buildings always make one think about the way it looked when it was first built. This particular building was built in the very early 1900’s and is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. It is always our desire to bring the stone back to it’s original glory.
Building Details: The Stoneholm, one of many large residences constructed at the foot of Corey Hill in Brookline. Designed by Arthur Bowditch, it is a magnificent French Renaissance chateau built in 1907 with amenities that include marble fireplaces, parquet floors, and crystal chandeliers.

Stone Types: Rojo Alicante and white Carrara floors with Serpentine green accents
Project Details: Restore and maintain the marble lobby and hallways of a unique Beaux-Arts Baroque style building. The lobby consists of mosaic ceilings, wall panels and beautiful marble floors. In 2012 Boston Stone Restoration was contracted to do a full restoration of all the stone surfaces. Presently we engage twice a year to maintain the work and keep the building looking it’s best.
