“I am a Top Real Estate Agent in the Boston North area. I do a lot of new construction and Luxury homes. I built my home 13 years ago and in an effort to make it’s finishes “timeless”, I used a lot of marble and granite in all the bathrooms, living and dining rooms, foyer and kitchen. My mistake, which I believed was a mistake, as thru the years, especially in my kitchen around the stove and sink area, I had accumulated so many spots on the marble floor that I had several contractors in to quote replacing the marble floor. It would have been catastrophic to have to remove all our cabinets, etc. and extremely costly. A few years ago a friend had recommended a stone restoration company to me and I hired them to try and correct these areas. It cost me several thousand dollars and they looked no different. They told me that because marble was so porous, that was the best that could be done. Of course I believed them, hence getting quotes to tear my kitchen apart.
I saw the ad for Boston Stone Restoration in one of the design magazines as we have a Design Division in our company. I called and met with them. They assured me that I would be amazed and that the damage that had been caused could be cured without tearing out my kitchen. I will be honest, when they quoted me it was very pricey, but not nearly what it would cost me to tear the kitchen apart. I decided to take a chance with them, even though I had been totally disappointed with the previous company.
They came yesterday and when I returned from work I was stunned as my kitchen looked like I had just laid new tiles.

“BSR just re-did my marble kitchen counters with a WONDERFUL new product, More Anti-Etch surfacing. It’s incredibly thin, “baked” on through the use of UV light (sort of like a gel manicure). The counters are so beautiful, and the stone — marble was not the best kitchen choice for an owner who cooks — is protected against the usual insults of wear, tear, heat, pots, and so on. The installation team arrived exactly on time, worked effectively and efficiently until the job was done, and cleaned the kitchen (including the floor!) before departing. Both product and people get 5 stars.”
