If you are planning to support small businesses this Saturday, November 28 (and we highly recommend that you do!), here is a list of a few of our favorite local, small businesses. Boston Stone Restoration too is a locally-owned small business and are proud to be counted among this group of people making it happen.

9. http://www.custommade.com/ (online Cambridge-based) Need a completely one-of-a-kind creation? Use this service to find a crafter for anything from clothing to furniture.
10. http://www.artoftileandstone.com/ Wellesley, MA: A BSR gift list would be incomplete without one of our favorite stone designers, and honestly, the gift of stone lasts a lifetime!

According the the Small Business Administration (SBA), small businesses account for a significant amount of employment in the US. In November 2010 Americans were introduced to Small Business Saturday, a day during the year when people across the country are encouraged to support local businesses. By 2011 the US Senate officially recognized the day. Last year an estimated $14.3 billion in small business revenue was generated in that one day, a BIG win for small businesses everywhere! Small Businesses all over are now preparing for an even better result this year on Saturday November 28, 2015.
