We have been busy working on terrazzo again! This time in the lobby of Flagship Wharf in the Charlestown Navy Yard, where they have a beautiful terrazzo floor that had been coated with wax. Once we stripped the wax, and thoroughly cleaned the floor we diamond honed it to restore its natural shine. We then applied a sealer to protect the floor.
Going forward the maintenance crew should have a much easier time keeping clean than they did when it had a wax buildup!
