World War II veteran’s headstone restored

Nov 7, 2017

One of the privileges we get working with stone is the opportunity to restore Veterans headstones and memorials. We’ve cleaned and restored many grave markers over the years.

This season, we had an opportunity to restore the stone of a World War II veteran at a cemetery in Brockton, MA. The granite marker was under a big tree and over time the rain and droppings from the tree left a dark stain and quite a bit of discoloration.

By using our high pressure, hot water system and some TLC we were able to remove all the damage.  If you want to honor your veteran or any loved one with a stained or dirty headstone call Boston Stone Restoration at 781-793-0700.
