Revisiting a project from 2021, we were involved in a full stone installation carried out by Divine Stoneworks for a client on Martha’s Vineyard in Edgartown. Our Boston Stone Restoration team applied AntiEtch protection, a product with a proven track record for safeguarding marble against staining and etching. This professional application came with a 10-year warranty, ensuring durability and peace of mind.
Stepping into the completed project, visitors were greeted by the beautiful natural stone selections. White Danby marble countertops exuded timeless elegance, inviting residents and guests alike to experience luxury in every corner of the space. The vanity, crafted from limestone, added a touch of understated sophistication. Meanwhile, contrasting counters, made from Pietra de Cardosa, offered a striking contrast and a sense of modern flair.

Boston Stone Restoration’s etch protective marble sealer is a UV-cured coating. The surface is prepared for the sealer by sanding to allow the system to bind to the counters. A carefully measured and prepared batch of sealer is applied and cured using our smart UV technology. The curing takes just a few seconds and is available for all kitchen counters, bathroom vanities, slab tub decks, and other areas that can be etched by citrus, household cleaners, and other liquids.
