Not every project we do is transforming something old and worn, into something sparkling and new. In fact many projects are on new installations and are meant to protect and prevent damage before it starts!
When we were contacted to help kid-proof 31 bathrooms at the Fuller Middle School in Framingham, MA — we were up to the challenge. Our team took a sample of surfaces and applied coatings to test against markers, paints and biologicals to ensure the best solution to help the buildings and grounds department minimize grime on vertical surfaces. In the end we selected Adsil’s MicroGuard AD2000-QD.
MicroGuard All-InOne, Quick Dry Hard Surface Finish is a self-curing, glass-like coating that is among the most durable coatings known to mankind and its awesome on hard vertical surfaces. So different and effective, it’s patented.
Adsil’s MicroGuard AD2000-QD clear sealing system bonds with hard, non-food contact surfaces (sorry cafeteria staff, we have another product for food surfaces!) to produce a beautiful, strong, thin, clear coat that delivers remarkable adhesion, long-term protection and wear-resistance. It protects tile, stone, terrazzo, non-ferrous metal, painted metal and concrete surfaces from corrosion, abrasive wear, mold, odor, graffiti and chemical attack.
We were contracted to apply the Adsil MicroGuard to the walls in 31 brand new bathrooms and 8 water fountains. Now that the walls are treated they will be resistant to dirt, graffiti, mold and more. It is a perfect solution for what will soon be a busy and active middle school.
