Quartzite Problem: Going the Extra Mile

Oct 18, 2012

Quartzite kitchen island polished MaWhen it comes to our work, we are perfectionists.  When it comes to working on marble and other natural stone, sometimes the standard methods to solve problems don’t work.  We are a local company, owned and managed, so every project is personal. Take for instance this quartzite island that we were hired to restore.  The client wanted a honed (matte) finish, but in the process of honing, the fabricator created swirl marks that the owner was unable to remove. That is where Boston Stone Restoration came in!  Utilizing current knowledge, and owner Paul’s unique training and network of stone experts, we were able to look at past experience, infuse new research, devise a plan and resolve the issue. How did we do it? Let’s just say, we got really creative (note photo above) – and the results were beautiful!

We are passionate about what we do and will go to great lengths to deliver a quality finished product. Call us today if you are looking for a team of stone care pros that really care, call 781-793-0700.
