It’s all about back to school at Boston Stone Restoration. Last week and most of this coming month we will be working at schools and universities to get them ready for the students returning in September. One project we completed recently was the lobby restoration at Dunster House, which is part of Harvard University in Cambridge, MA.
The whole building had been renovated and the dirty limestone in the main lobby was not commensurate with the rest of the building. Boston Stone Restoration diamond honed the surface to remove the built up dirt and scratches. We then polished it back to a semi-gloss shine. Lastly we applied a sealer specifically designed for this type of stone and high traffic. Check back soon for photos from our next project, an historic High School building in Thompson, CT! And remember it is not too soon to book us for the winter holiday for your school or university.
